Here are the best places to go sledding/ tubing in the Brainerd Lakes Area this winter:
Brainerd:
Brained High School (702 South 5th St, Brainerd- park by the football field)
Hitch- Wayne Park (off of South 7th St and Vine St or Tamarac St)
Trinity Lutheran Church (1420 South 6th St, Brainerd)
North of Brainerd:
- Fritz Loven Park (7877 Ridge Rd, Lake Shore)
- Mount Ski Gull* (9898 County Rd 77 Southwest, Nisswa)
- The Yard* (4316 County Rd 168, Pequot Lakes)
- Eagle View Elementary (6539 County Rd 11, Breezy Point- park in the parking lot or access the hill from the frontage road)
East of Brainerd:
- Vispo Cross-Country Ski Trail and Sledding Hill (Aitkin)
- Mille Lacs Kathio State Park* (15066 Kathio State Park Rd, Onamia- located next to the Trail Center)
South of Brainerd:
- Maple Island Park (1st St Southeast, Little Falls- park about a block south of Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union)
- Little Falls Golf Course (1 Edgewater Dr, Little Falls)
West of Brainerd:
- Motley Industrial Park (Curtis St West, Motley- just west of Curtis St opposite of The Dollar General)
