Experience the Magic at the 2024 Minnesota Renaissance Festival!

7 Weekends of Huzzah & Cheers begins Saturday, August 17th at 9 am.

We look forward to welcoming you for what is sure to be a MAGICAL season. 

Our 53rd anniversary will be the grandest Renaissance Festival in all the realm! 

2024 Season: weekends August 17th – September 29th, 2024, plus Labor Day, September 2nd & Festival Friday, September 27th, 2024.

Parking passes are REQUIRED to park on the Minnesota Renaissance Festival grounds.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

  • NEW IN 2024 - Blue Lagoon Bounce
    Come discover the uncharted territory of the Blue Lagoon Bounce and reach new heights of excitement! Featuring a new bounce pad for the young lads and lassies, come visit the Blue Lagoon Bounce located nigh the joust track and petting zoo.
  • NEW IN 2024 - TARDIS Quest
    The TARDIS has landed at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival! Follow the Doctor and his companion as they travel throughout the King’s realm! Join in on the quest to find the TARDIS with a single clue each weekend!
  • Fairywing Forest
    Venture into the shaded garden that has been transformed and filled with fairies, pixies, nymphs, and other magical creatures that now call the forest their home.
  • Mermaid Cove
    Watch as they dive, flip, and twirl majestically in the water! If you’re lucky, they may share a token of their magic with you.
  • Children’s Costume Contest
    Lads and lassies can compete in a Renaissance Costume Contest. Children 12 & under are welcome to participate in this fun daily event for prizes!
  • Children’s Knighting Ceremony
    Children can receive the highest badge of honor by being knighted by the King and his Royal Court! Held daily at 3:30pm on the King’s Arbor Stage.
  • Irish Cottage
    Cooking demos, stories, and music.
  • Herpetological House
    Immerse yourself in the wonders of reptiles! These slithering creatures aren’t so scary after all. Visit the Herpetological House for a close-up and in person looks at these super cool creatures.
  • Jousting
    Watch live armored jousting every day at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm on the Joust Track!
  • Meet the King & Queen
    Relive history and meet King Henry and Queen Elizabeth at the Festival!
  • Experience Palace Garden
    The Princess Court are princesses and princes from kingdoms both neighboring and afar who have heard that the English royalty are visiting this village, and have come to celebrate the Festival.
  • Juggling School
    Learn how to be a juggling master at the Juggling School!
  • Wishing Well
    Drop a coin and make your dreams come true! We are proud partners with the Angel Foundation to support families with cancer.
  • Tribucade
    Watch the Royal Court and other Festival Entertainers joyously greet all Festival Goers in this daily parade at 1:00pm!
  • Viking Encampment
    Explore the rich Scandinavian history of the Vikings. Learn about their lives through Norse sagas, songs, games, and weapons demos to find your inner Viking. Skol!

Admission at the gate: Adult (13+) $27.95; Children 5 - 12 $18.95; Seniors $25.95; children four and under are free! Discount tickets can be purchased online here.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival will be open weekends (SAT & SUN) August 17th – September 29th plus Labor Day, September 2nd and Festival Friday, September 27th.
Open 9 am - 7 pm. Rain or Shine.

PARK AND RIDE

New Key Information sure to make for a pleasant arrival - Parking passes are REQUIRED to park on the Minnesota Renaissance Festival grounds.

Park & Ride to the Festival Recommended

  • Minnesota Renaissance Festival Park & Ride service features a direct non-stop bus ride to the Festival. The round-trip cost to ride the bus is $6 per adult 13 and older (children 12 and under are FREE). Parking at a Park & Ride lot is Free. 
  • Park & Ride locations include; Eagle Creek, Canterbury Park, Southwest-East Creek, Southwest Station, Southwest Village, Southwest-Carver Station, Burnsville Transit Hub, and Southbridge Crossing. Check website for select days at each location.
  • Buses will run 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Park & Ride options are provided by Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, Southwest Transit and Richfield Bus Line/Lorenz as a team.
  • All Park & Ride buses drop off and pick up patrons at the Festival Transit Hub located on the south side of the Festival grounds near the Kings Gate entrance. 
  • Please note: If Park & Ride lots fill, they will reopen throughout the day as spaces become available.
  • During the festival, follow Minnesota Renaissance Festival webpage for Park & Ride lot updates. Checkback in during festival-time for Park & Ride status updates.

PARKING

Parking passes are REQUIRED to park on the Minnesota Renaissance Festival grounds.

  • The Minnesota Renaissance Festival offers limited date-specific guaranteed convenient, paid parking for patrons visiting the festival. Each Festival Parking Pass is good for one specified day of parking and the cost is $15. Parking spaces are limited; and patrons are encouraged to utilize the Festival busing options; however, a pre-purchased Parking Pass provides a parking spot for the specified date listed on the Parking Pass.
