BOO Baskets Are Back!

Subscribe today to get the chance to sign up to be one of the 50 families boo'd this Halloween!

They're baaaaaaack! Together, with the help of other local businesses, Macaroni KID Brainerd, Little Falls, Long Prairie, Mille Lacs is filling and delivering 100 "Boo Baskets" throughout the BLA to surprise and delight local families. These baskets are filled with trinkets, coupons, and more! It's our hope to spread some fun, spook-free cheer to the little faces that call this community home.

We will be BOO'ing 50 families in Brainerd/Baxter and Little Falls on Sunday, October 13th. This is entirely FREE!

We will come to your house and drop off a basket of Halloween goodies. You are then tasked with "boo'ing" another family. It doesn't have to be much - a halloween trinket or two, candy, homemade card, etc.

Access the forms needed for the basket below. You will need one of each to put in the basket for you to use when boo'ing others!

So, how do you get a "Boo Basket"?

1. Fill out the form here! (Form is no longer available as all baskets have been claimed).

2. Live within the city limits of Baxter, Brainerd, or Little Falls. If you live outside one of these cities, please know there will be an option to pick up your basket at one of the participating sponsors, Elevate Wellness. Understandably so, this will be a big commitment and my family and I can't drive all throughout the greater Brainerd Lakes Area. Thank you for understanding!

3. You MUST be willing to boo another family. Please do not sign up if you are not going to keep the chain reaction going. This is meant to be fun for the kids and to encourage a "pass it on" movement.

4. Subscribe to Macaroni KID Brainerd, Little Falls, Long Prairie, Mille Lacs - do so HERE. By filling out the form, you are also consenting to signing up for the newsletter. Don't worry, it's entirely FREE and you can unsubscribe at anytime. Although, if you do that you could miss out on other fun Macaroni KID Brainerd giveaways!

5. You MUST supply your address in the form - we cannot boo your house unless an address is provided. Don't worry, this information is not shared with ANYONE. I am the only person who has access to the sign up forms and delete it once the event is over. *If you live in an apartment - the door HAS to be accessible via the street. My children deliver most of the baskets and because of this are not going to enter an apartment complex to do so.

6. Shop, visit, like/follow some of our wonderful sponsors! Without their support, this would not be possible!

7. Boo Baskets will be delivered on October 13, 2024.

And, how do you "boo" someone?

1. Fill a Halloween basket with goodies (candy, glow sticks, stickers, decals, straws, etc.) Or, include something homemade! It doesn't have to be much!

2. Make a copy of the "YOU'VE BEEN BOO'D" sign and a copy of the "WE'VE BEEN BOO'D" sign and place them in the basket.

3. Leave your basket on the doorstep of a friend, family member, neighbor, etc. then ring the doorbell and run!

The recipient opens the door to see they have been "boo'd!" Children will love being surprised by the basket of goodies and the instructions explaining that they need to make a basket and boo another family! Like in many other instances of giving, boo'ing others is sure to be more fun than getting the candy itself.
